A jewel in Tuscany. We were greeted with smiles by the owners - a very bright and happy couple - who saw moving to Tuscany and running this hotel as a great life style change. Every suggestion was excellent as was their wine and olive oil made on the premises. The vast lunch view of the mountains and valleys is unforgettable and incredible. My favorite past time when at Poggio alla Rocca was to sit by the pool, read a book, sip wine and soak in the view. The rooms were clean and spacious with my favorite perk being the table outside where we could eat lunch and enjoy the spectacular view. We travelled to the 400AD towns and restaurants nearby and simply loved everything, except having to leave. I have recommended this hotel to friends and hope to return in the future.
