Hello! Our family of 3 would love to host your stay in the USA! We are located in Greenville, South Carolina, USA! Greenville is listed in the top 3 of the best small cities in the USA! We are sure you will have a great time while here! Nearby are amusement parks, larger cities, water parks, live music, sporting events, and much more!
More about us:
Jessica is an online English as a Second Language teacher that works from home with a Bachelor's Degree from Tusculum University and pursuing a Master's Degree. TESOL certified. Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. I teach English online to children and adults located in China and South Korea. I am willing to do classes during your stay as well. Prior to this, I was a youth Social Worker for 10 years. I worked in homes and with government agencies advocating for the needs of children with behavioral and mental health issues. I also taught English in South Korea for several years at a private school. I taught ESL to students in elementary through high school. This is where my love for different cultures and teaching started! I received a full scholarship to college to play basketball while earning my Bachelors. I enjoy coaching basketball within the community as time allows. I would love to teach you new sports during your stay!
Host dad, Kevin, has an Associate's Degree and played University football. Kevin works full time at the popular automotive company, BMW.
Our daughter, Aakyrah, is 6 years old. She enjoys sports and is eager to host a student! We prefer a female student due to her younger age. She has desperately been wanting a sister! :)
We also love pets, especially dogs!
We are an easy-going, active family! You can view some of our photos to see we love to travel! We focus on studying through the week and have a family outing on the weekends! There are many attractions and interesting places to visit nearby! We have season passes to the nearby Carowinds Amusement Park in Charlotte, NC. We enjoy beaches, playing sports, hiking, running, and trying new things!
We have a large 4 bedroom home where you will have your own room with a queen bed, desk, and closet space! There is an optional private bathroom outside of the room or you can share the bathroom with our daughter. Our home is equipped with 3 bathrooms.
More activities are available on demand, as we enjoy traveling!! I invite you to discuss any questions with me prior to reservation!
